I hired Christine to develop a volunteer team for the Clayton Center for the Arts as well as to assist in events. She was amazing – she took the bull by the horns but researching other PACs and then creating a training manual for our volunteers; created innovative ways to recruit volunteers and conducted the training sessions. After 3 months she had a volunteer arm of 150 people and she took care of the Volunteer schedule; keeping track of everyone’s schedules and insuring our events were covered. She also learned how to run the Box Office and managed events. All in all one of the best employees I have had the pleasure of working with. Whoever hires her will be wowed.
Jessica Popek, Development Director at Humane Society Tennessee Valley
As an intern at TPAC, Christine maintained a positive attitude, was willing to assist with any task, and was enthusiastic to work with any department on many varied projects, large or small. I was able to rely on Christine to handle many projects including e-blast messaging, social networking, website planning and creation, and more for multiple nationally-touring productions and departments within TPAC. Christine’s outgoing personality and jovial spirit brightened up the offices. However, her ability to learn new software and tasks quickly and with ease impressed me most. I have never worked with another intern who could absorb such a large amount of new information so rapidly. Please feel free to contact me with any questions regarding Christine’s experience at TPAC.

Susan Rodenbeck, Ticketing Services Manager at the Historic Tennessee Theatre
Christine Waxstein is one of the best Costume Designers I’ve worked with and I’ve been a member of Actors Equity since 1965 and SAG-AFTRA since 1968. She is smart and collegial and insightful and you will love her work.
Pat Cronin, Division of Theatre & Dance Program Director at East Tennessee State University
Christine was the House Manager and managed ushers as well as maintained professional decorum during the execution of different events. I have never seen someone so meticulous in their management of databases and personnel like she was. She is one of the most organized people I have ever met. She always has a clear vision of what she wants and is very good at communicating that vision to the rest of her colleagues. Christine is very talented, reliable, and punctual.
